This Sunday marks Mother’s Day for a majority across the Globe. In the D&D studio, many of us will be dialling internationally to say happy Mother’s Day to their mums, moms, grandmothers and maternal figures. We rush about our busy lives, ignoring the guilt we feel for the distance or separating our grandmothers to their grandchildren but what we miss the most is the feeling of home. Of swinging by unannounced or the smell of their laundry (why does your own never smell the same!?) or grabbing a casual lunch. So whilst of course we’ll still take a moment to pause on Sunday and send our love, let it be known the mundanity of motherhood is what makes it magical.
