Hot off the press 📢 We’re pleased to announce a brand-new exhibition, LAIKA presents Wildwood: The Exhibition, opening on 15 October 2026. This exhibition will coincide with the international release of @laikastudios’s latest stop motion adventure, Wildwood, directed by Travis Knight, and will offer visitors a rare opportunity to discover the film’s creative journey as it arrives on screen. Visitors will have the chance to take a look behind-the-scenes at the creative and technical processes involved in building a stop-motion world, through production objects, costumes, film-making tools and interactive installations. After 20 years of masterminding animated cinematic classics, including the likes of Coraline (2009) and Kubo and the Two Strings (2016), Wildwood encompasses two decades of the studio’s groundbreaking approach to stop-motion filmmaking.
