Dylan Jones is a scary motherfucker. When I knew I was gonna get in a room with him I didn’t know what to expect. One thing I know for certain is I knew he would push me. He has interviewed and reviewed every hero of mine I can think of so it was an honour to sit with him. I’ve never addressed misconceptions made about me because either at the time I was young and too insecure - trying to convince myself I was above it all or no one ever had bollocks to ask me. Lovesick Lullaby. The second single off my upcoming album. Out now.

Making this song was a fucking party you can hear it. I recorded it 5 miles away from where I grew up in the north of England where my imagination could be limitless. I wanted to make a song that would be an injection of energy in the mornin or make you walk five feet taller with a little bite as you head out into the night. I’m making the music I want with all the love I’ve got. I filmed the video in London with my best mates in my favourite pub in Camden Town. I love British music, British art and British culture and this song is a representation of where I’m from. As I’ve said before and want to reiterate I feel like I’ve been on a journey trying to figure out meaning in different places all over the world for which I am forever grateful to have had the chance to explore, but it really felt as though my feet left the ground a little too much and I had to bring myself back. I love being British, it’s my roots and it’s my blood, I can’t avoid it, I can’t escape it, and I don’t want or need to. I am home. Lovesick lullaby is OUT NOW.
