Birthstones 2025 Emerald, May: Renewal, Hope, Healing. 
The eternal green of nature, held in stone. Since the dawn of memory, emerald has whispered of rebirth, wisdom, and the secret harmony that threads through all life. In ancient Egypt, it was the stone of eternity. Cleopatra, draped in its cool green light, saw in it the promise of endless renewal, the blessing of the gods. From the mines by the Red Sea, these gems were drawn like treasures from the earth’s own heart, their glow as deep and fertile as the banks of the Nile. They spoke of life’s return, of the cycle that never ends. The emerald has always been a bridge between earth and sky. Its deep green still carries that ancient power: the call to grow, to heal, to return to the endless, living rhythm of the world. Ready online, May 6.

Hace justo un año volvíamos de uno de los viajes más inspiradores que he vivido. Sinceramente, nunca he sido una de esas personas que mencionan como afición viajar. Me parece sobrevalorado, incómodo, muchas veces molesto para los habitantes de la zona que visitas y una inversión en tiempo de desplazamientos enorme. Tres escalas, carga de conciencia por dejar a mi perra con mi madre (aunque ella ni se acuerda de mí durante esos días) y una maleta enorme que arrastrar durante casi veinte días fuera de casa. Cuando llegamos a la costa de México, me sentí totalmente desubicada. Me preguntaba si era realmente necesario moverse de casa para ver una playa. La respuesta es no. Pero nuestro viaje, poco a poco, se transformó en un camino artesanal repleto de paradas que no dejaban de fascinarme: talleres, tradiciones, amor y cuidado por los detalles. Cerámica, cera, tejidos, sabores, flores, personas increíbles. Entre tantas paradas del viaje, la Biblioteca de Vasconcelos me dejó una huella especial. Entre sus estanterías infinitas, encontré un libro sobre las Birthstones: piedras de nacimiento que civilizaciones han venerado durante siglos. Una por cada mes, una conexión directa con la tierra y con personas separadas por milenios. Ahí estaba yo, fascinada, queriendo sumar mi granito de arena a esta tradición infinita. Pensaba en las piedras de mi familia, en poder llevarles de manera silenciosa y sentir su mes cerca de mí. No fui a ver una playa, fui a encontrar algo de mí que no conocía. Porque eso hacen los viajes de verdad: te cambian sin avisar. Te devuelven con algo nuevo, más tuyo que nunca. 12 piedras. 12 meses. 12 historias con las que conectar. Birthstones 2025.
