✨ How do you add pops of sparkle to your resin geode artwork? ✨ 🙌 Let's talk about it in Step 9! The trick for controlled glitter lines is THICK resin. If your resin is too runny, it will spread out and lose its definition. So, how do you get it thick enough? ✍️ First, add A LOT of glitter - the more, the better. Second, wait, then wait some more until the resin and glitter mix is warm to the touch and close to the texture of cool honey. 🖌️ Then, apply your lines using a small stir stick or syringe - artist's choice! 🔥 Once your lines have settled, carefully and QUICKLY pop air bubbles with a heat torch or rubbing alcohol. 🩶 Ready to add gilding to your resin geode wall art? 🩶 🙌 Let's get to it in Step 8 of our tutorial! You can use a premade "gilding" paint or easily DIY it with just 2 ingredients: MEYSPRING Sterling Lining + Clear, oil-based* polyurethane! ✍️ Simply add a little polyurethane and pigment into a plastic mixing cup (NOT paper, as it can dissolve) and combine! It's really that easy. 🖌️Once you're ready, apply your gilding next to crystal clusters or wherever else you'd like! 🥰 Ready to pour the final base color? 💜 It's time to fill in the last section of our Resin Geode Wall Art - so let's do a "Dirty Pour method!" For this pour, we use MEYSPRING's White Pearl and white epoxy paste to create a natural marbled look. 🙌💜 Let's kick off the week with another fresh step-by-step! 💜 for Step 6, we pour our second epoxy sections with MEYSPRING's Violet Crystal next to the cured pour we did in Step 5. 🤔✨ How do you create resin geode "crystal clusters?" 💡 Let's go over the "how to" in Step 4 of our Resin Geode Wall Art Tutorials! ✍️ For this piece, we’re using a mix of crushed fire glass, purple glass chips, smooth quartz chips, and rough quartz chips around the Purple Amethyst crystals! Begin around your main crystals and work your way out until all of your cluster mix is on the canvas. 🫱 Then, use your hand or a brush to tidy up your clusters!
