📍Utah ✨🏜️ Every year since hitting the road in our VW in 2022, we’ve made our way back to the state of Utah. Sometimes it’s to revisit our favorite views, sometimes it’s to see something totally new and occasionally it’s for making memories with friends. Being back again now this spring has had me traveling down memory lane through my hard drives to look back at some of our favorite captures of these brilliant landscapes. These moments do more than just remind us of how we felt the first time we laid eyes on these views; they confirm to us how equally amazed we are every time we’ve since returned. Our mom and dad lore is going to be insane! For the past three years, we’ve been sharing pieces of our lives online. Little moments, big adventures, quiet mornings, and wild sunsets. But we’ve never really opened up about whether we see kids in our future. The simple answer is yes. We know, deep in our hearts, that someday we’ll want a little one (or two) to share in all the beauty, wonder, and joy we’ve found out here on the open road. These videos we make have always been like postcards, a way to send love home to our family and friends, to let them glimpse the life we’re building. And we’re endlessly grateful for the incredible community that’s gathered around us here, cheering us on and supporting us along the way ❤️ But maybe the most precious gift these videos will ever hold is for the little souls we haven’t met yet, our future children. Someday, they’ll be able to watch these moments and see just how wild, free, and deeply in love their parents were before they came along. And maybe, just maybe, these stories will spark a little fire of adventure in them too. We can only hope. For the boys We’re camped up on an insanely beautiful and tall cliff in Utah at the moment and we stumbled across this hole that someone drilled a long time ago. I’m not exactly sure what they were searching for, but I knew what must be done. This isn’t our usual “content” but it just had to be shared with the world 😆

The Annual Ottinger Overland Tour 2025! This event to us is a special one- and it really is more than a wild weekend of over landing. It’s a time to connect with our VW friends from all over, and of course grow new friendships as well. It’s a time where we excitedly take our bus down trails we never thought we could, constantly learning the true limits of these 50+ year old vehicles and knowing every single person here is happy to lend a helping hand if needed. More than anything else, it’s a time to celebrate the life of a family who feels beyond the word inspirational; they are the true essence of these red rock landscapes and the wonder that can be found within them. We set sail for the desert’s of Utah tomorrow! 🏜️ Looking at our super 8 footage from years gone by always reminds us why we chose to live the vanlife lifestyle in the first place. We’ve been absolutely loving our time in Southern California, spent with friends and family, but the road is calling again and we must answer! Tomorrow, we take off for Utah to join the Utah VW club on the Ottinger Tour. A wild weekend of VW Buses overlanding the gnarly roads of Moab, it’s a sight to be seen. We can’t wait to share what the weekend will bring ☺️ Hope to see you there!
