NO DOGS!… The Indian Seats Trail is a popular hiking spot at Sawnee Mountain Preserve in Cumming, Georgia. 🥾 Trail length: About 1-4.2 miles round trip (depending on which trail you take) 🥵 Difficulty: Easy/Moderate — there’s a steady uphill, but it’s manageable for most hikers 🏞️Gorgeous panoramic views from the top 📕 Rich history — the “Indian Seats” were said to be used by Native Americans as lookout spots

Harbour Town, Shelter Cove, and Pinckney Island—all beautiful spots located in or near Hilton Head Island, South Carolina! 🚢Harbour Town is famous for its iconic lighthouse, marina, shops, and restaurants. It’s a popular place to stroll and enjoy waterfront views. 🌴Pinckney Island National Wildlife Refuge is a peaceful nature preserve just off Hilton Head Island. It’s great for hiking, wildlife viewing, and exploring pristine Lowcountry landscapes. 🌅 Shelter Cove is known for its harbor-front dining, shopping, and seasonal events. Shelter Cove Towne Centre and Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina are both hubs for activities and sunsets!

Fort Mountain State Park is a beautiful spot located in the North Georgia mountains, near Chatsworth. It’s well known for: 👉Scenic Hiking Trails: Including the popular Gahuti Trail (8.2 miles) and shorter loops like the West Overlook Trail, which offers amazing views. There are also several overlooks that don’t require hiking! 🏹Historic Sites: The park features an ancient 855-foot-long rock wall on the mountaintop, believed to be built by Native Americans. 💦Lake and Swimming: There’s a small lake with a beach area for swimming and paddle boat rentals in season.

High Shoals & Blue Hole Falls Trail💦 📍Location: Near Hiawassee, GA. 🗺️ Distance: 2.6 miles round trip. 🥵 Difficulty: Moderate — short but steep in spots. Highlights: 👉Blue Hole Falls — small scenic waterfall with a deep blue swimming hole (on the day we hiked it had rained heavy… So the water was not blue) 👉High Shoals Falls — 50-foot stunning cascade. • Best time: Spring for flow, fall for foliage. 🚘 Notes: Gravel road to the trailhead, small parking lot, dog-friendly, no restrooms.

Under 2 hours from Atlanta, Chau Ram Falls is such a hidden gem! It’s located in Oconee County, South Carolina, near Westminster — super close to the Georgia border, so it makes a great day trip!! The falls are part of Chau Ram County Park, where the Chauga River drops about 30 feet over a wide rock ledge, creating a really scenic and photogenic waterfall. The park is pretty family-friendly too, with: • Easy hiking trails • A long suspension bridge over the river • Picnic areas and swimming spots • Tubing access and light fishing
