Very blessed to gate crash @kerygmasummit in Nashville briefly and get time there with our dear @nicoladouglass who’d come all the way from England for it! As usual, just insane to hear from some of the most wonderful living Bible scholars (not supposed to have favourites but Dr Craig Keener undoes me! And Dr @jim.howard.co even though I didn’t get to see him this year!), be led in beautiful worship by @laurabcooksey and team and generally sit in the shade of @lisadharper and enjoy this remarkable, vibrant, accessible learning space she has pioneered and the company of hundreds of women who are passionate about Scripture. Cannot wait for next year!

We had a really special time this week getting to serve church planters, pastors and leaders from @arcchurches across the US and around the world. Getting to witness these leaders responding across the day to what the Lord might have for them, humbly and unhesitatingly crowding the altars for prayer is a tender image I’ll not soon forget. I soaked up being able to sit in the sessions also and hear such rich teaching, especially from big-sister friends @charlottegambrill and @priscillashirer whose weapons are so sharp and it’s so obvious that their power comes from the closet 😮‍💨 . And of course loved getting to journey with our beautiful, pure, fun, incredible team @danmcmurray @e__edwards @cassiefcampbell @lee.jonathan.lee @thedavidfunk and also hug so many of my pastor friends from around the country who I had no idea would be there! Thank you @dinorizzo @delynnrizzo @arcchurches for the trust you extended to me/us and not only letting but wanting me to be myself (I’m a bit weird so that’s a big deal) - to the @milestonechurch team for your wonderful hospitality and also just big love to the @churchofthehighlands family I got to see - you are always a highlight (thank you Caitlin + Jesse for jumping up with us in the last session!) - and I already can’t wait to be together again at @motiongen

Good Friday Nashville ✝️ With gratitude we gathered last night for a Good Friday service where Christ was exalted and the Gospel proclaimed, joining with brothers and sisters around the world doing the same in chapels, churches, parking lot tents, homes or under the open sky. The micro and macro both are sacred and miraculous. I can only behold Him, speak with Him, sing to Him, write this sentence because of the infinite mercy I access through Christ and Him crucified and because of the enduring hope I now possess because of this same Christ risen. May we allow our hearts to be apprehended afresh this week.
