[ THE ARCHIVE ] Over the years, we’ve accumulated a number of pieces that hold higher value — unreleased samples, limited drops, past seasonal colorways, archived styles, and campaign one-offs. Pieces we always felt deserved another moment. Introducing: The Archive. A new program that opens up the ASRV vault. Every other Friday at 8:08 AM PT, we’ll release an ultra-limited batch of these styles. Some are highly sought-after past items, others have never been seen before. No full-size runs, no restocks — just what we have on hand. Starting this week, The Archive will launch in a bidding format. Instead of first come, first serve, you’ll now place your best offer on any item. Bidding stays open for 12 hours, and the highest offer wins. When it comes to innovation, there are a lot of ways to think about it. There’s performance innovation through fabric technology, functional innovation through product feature design, and sometimes it’s just about combining industries that haven’t traditionally overlapped. That’s what we set out to do when we partnered with Realtree® on our custom camo print series. We dropped our first Realtree® pattern in Fall ‘23 using the iconic Realtree® Edge camo, which we had never seen used in performance activewear before. Fast forward a year, and you can see the influence. A ton of brands in the fitness and athletic space have since dropped Realtree® collections, or bootleg Realtree patterns… But innovation isn’t always about “inventing” something new. Sometimes it’s just having a vision before others can see it, and once it hits, it opens the door for a whole new trend. For our second collab with Realtree®, we wanted to push the boundaries even further. We chose Realtree® Aspect, a trademarked and copywritten camo pattern engineered for open-water fishing. It’s one of the most compelling prints we’ve ever seen. From there, we spent months tweaking the coloring, hundreds of subtle edits, dozens or samples… to make sure it printed correctly across five different performance fabrics. Which sounds simple, but anyone who’s worked in fabric printing knows how insane that process is. Each fabric takes color differently. What looks perfect on one can look totally off on another. The final result? A camo that’s unlike anything else in the space. We know the look won’t be for everyone, but that’s the point. We didn’t want to copy and paste what’s already out there. We wanted to make something original. Something that pushed the space forward. Hope you guys like it.
