It’s coming up on off season for hitters. It’s a time to grow as a hitter, if you use it well. For hitters, that doesn’t have to mean just grinding away in the cage. We recommend some time in the water. Here is why. We not only make off season stics, we participate in the those sports. We love those sports. On the Leeward Coast of O’ahu, there is an organization making a generational impact through baseball. @protectorsofparadise was founded on the concept of “Mālama ka ʻĀina,” or “to care for and protect the land.” They now host an annual baseball tournament educating and inspiring youth to mālama ka ʻĀina by removing waste and promoting environmental stewardship. With the rapid growth of baseball throughout Hawai’i, these young athletes share both a love for the game and their homeland that is distinct from anywhere else. We’re honored to have partnered with Protectors of Paradise for their 2nd annual Aloha ‘Āina Athlete Tournament.
