If you have been following me for some time, you know how picky and intentional I am about ANYTHING I use on/for myself and brushes were never allowed anywhere near my skin (I tried many years ago using a typical brush and it was an immediate gut feeling and a response from my skin that this is bad). Most people plan what outfits to pack, I plan what makes my travels easier & healthier for my skin & body! For your face are you an ICE 🧊 fan or WARMTH ♨️ fan? Stop just randomly repeating what others do, understand first what you do and choose for yourself if you want or need to chill your skin or warm it up. Please swipe through the carousel 🫶 Would I ever use ice on face? Yes, briefly if happen to get swelling reaction from dental work or if I get some face treatment and would need some quick cooling down after, or some skin reaction to something. But it would NOT be a regular practice for me. I reserve ice for twisted ankle to suppress and calm at first and then taping to improve circulation & facilitate faster healing. If you have HEALTHY skin and like some surface soothing/cooling effect from ice, great. If you think it is a necessary practice and you are physiologically antiaging your skin every morning, you are mistaken. My fave sequence for my face (see at the end of carousel) : Warm compress to melt tension, warm up tissues, prep for massage ➡️ massage ➡️ follow with my JAPANA tape applications to prolong and intensity massage effects, to assist blood supply, lymph flow, cells repair all night long and to smooth wrinkles.
