Keepsake opening weekend was incredible. Thank you all SO MUCH for your love and support and for embracing my vision. Yes, you can find a lot of special products to buy at Keepsake but you can also step inside and feel a sense of community which to me is just as important as the goods on the shelves. Hope to see you all this weekend!! I’ll be restocking with new vintage items and we’ll have coffee and donuts for all as usual. @shoprustygold will be here with an assortment of amazing vintage clothing and @glassonionfloraldesign will have some special Mother’s Day florals. The spring edition of my brick and mortar shop opens tomorrow, Saturday May 3rd at 11am. The space is filled with my vintage finds, Forestbound goods, and special items from other (mostly women) artists and makers that I’ve curated. Keepsake is located at 52 Main St in Amesbury Massachusetts. I’ll be open this weekend and the two weekends that follow… then I close up the in person shop until fall. Hope to see you!

I’m busy busy getting ready for the first Keepsake Spring edition to open in a little over a week (!!). I’ve been collecting so many special antique pieces along with handmade gifts and trinkets with spring regrowth and Mother’s Day in mind. The shop opens Saturday May 3rd at 11am and make sure to keep an eye on my stories this week for lots of sneak peeks at what will be on the shelves waiting for you :)

A find so special it actually brought me to tears. Over 100 botanical pressings from the 1880’s of native northeast plants and wildflowers that had been stashed in a cabinet in a NH estate and have not seen the light of day in 100 years. Collected and documented by one New Hampshire woman who was her in 20’s at the time. So many of these pressings are of native plants I’ve loved and observed in the forests around NH since I was a child. The awe I feel when coming across a lady slipper in the woods is just as pure now as it was when I was a child and as it was when I opened these folders and saw this perfectly pressed native lady slipper from nearly 150 years ago. A handful of her specimens were collected at other sites in the northeast when she was traveling to teach - one of those places being a small town in NJ where my mother was born and where my great grandparents had a dairy farm… what are the odds! There is such magic in surrounding ourselves with these little pieces of history.
