When you’re the only introvert at the party. Or the only teenager in a room full of puppies! I visited Sit Social in Chicago for their Italian Greyhound Experience and got to spend time with eight of the tiniest, spunkiest Iggys you’ve ever met: Spaghetti & Meatball, Pesto & Polenta, Biscotti & Gelato, Ravioli & Risotto, and Pizza & Breadstick. Yes, they’re all named after Italian food. Yes, I needed a snack immediately after. Even though I was the oldest girl there, I kept up just fine—and honestly, I was very impressed with how calm and polite these little ones were. They’ve clearly been raised right. Four years, over 20 custom looks, and countless slayage moments later, I think it’s safe to say I’m @jade_and_coral’s muse. From sequins to silk, feathers to tulle, he designs the fantasy and I wear it with pride. Here’s a little tribute to one of my favourite designers (and favourite humans). The ultimate “Designer vs His Designs” moment starring yours truly. Merci, @jade_and_coral, let’s never stop playing dress up. 🩵

It’s #MetGala Monday! My invite must’ve gotten lost in the mail (again), but you already know I’m turning looks whether I’m in New York or not. This year, I’m paying tribute to one of the most legendary Met Gala moments of all time: @badgalriri 2015 appearance in a jaw-dropping yellow gown by Chinese couture designer Guo Pei. With intricate gold embroidery, fur trim, and a 16-foot train, the look instantly became fashion history (and yes, the memes were iconic). To recreate the look, @LittleMilosCloset stitched a not-so-miniature version of the gown, complete with bold detailing, a plush gold hem, and a train that’s over three times the length of my body. (If we’re doing the math, that’s actually more dramatic than Rihanna’s.) Thank you, @LittleMilosCloset, for bringing this fashion fantasy to life. Would you watch the live-action remakes if they cast dogs in the lead roles? Snow White, the original Disney princess, started it all. And if dogs were cast in that first fairytale, Kala would be Snow White without hesitation. Sweet, wide-eyed, and gentle to her core, watching her prance in that gown, you would think the birds might actually land on her shoulder. As for me, the Evil Queen felt like the natural fit. Regal, dramatic, and just *slightly* older. And for now, I remain fairest of them all. Thank you @pawstylebyluna for bringing our fairytale to life with these gorgeous gowns. One week until #MetGala Monday! My invitation must’ve gotten lost in the mail (again), but you know I’ll still be the best dressed whether I’m in NYC or Montreal. Last year, @haute_dogue and I decided to pay homage to my queen and forever fashion inspiration, @CelineDion! To recreate Celine’s 2019 @oscardelarenta look, @haute_dogue hand-sewed over 4000 tiny silver beads to a fitted mesh suit and crafted a tiny framed fascinator with gorgeous, larger-than-life feathers. Dog wedding? Just a joke. Dream wedding venue? Absolutely real. We spent a week at Rae’s Tulum Villa with @privatevillasmexico, and they mentioned to Second-Favourite Dad that this villa is so spacious it can host large events and weddings! Well, SFD started getting creative, and listen, if I get to wear my beautiful off-white tulle dress once more, this time in the warm Mexican breeze, who am I to stop him? This place feels like it was made for celebrations; the grand piano, the roof top terrace, two pools, and the lush gardens, every detail adds to the charm.
