Sorry I’m a little behind today! I meant to get this last quilt posted this morning but there was just too much fun stuff going on here at market. As someone who is usually working at home alone in my sweats with a podcast this time with all these wonderful ladies is such a treat! 💙 But back to the quilt! This one is named Bluebird and it’s made from a Layer Cake! It really comes together quick and as you can see it looks beautiful on any background color and would be the perfect scrap buster too! Abby (@latimerlanequilts) quilted it in City of Fountains by @juliehirt and I know I’m always saying this but it has such gorgeous texture! Thank you Abby!! Bluebird and the other Blueprint patterns are available now in my shop (and 20% off through this weekend!) and will ship out as soon as I get home from Chicago. Good morning! Today’s new quilt is a one of my favorites, it’s called Home. 💙 I’ve been wanting to make a classic house quilt that felt like a vintage indigo quilt and Blueprint was perfect for that. I figured out a way to piece it with no templates or tricky piecing and absolutely loved piecing this one from start to finish. Home measures 70” x 74” and is fat quarter friendly. Abby (@latimerlanequilts) quilted it in a classic Baptist fan and I love it so much! Home and the other new patterns are 20% off in my shop this week, so feel free to stop by if you’ve been looking for a new project. You know the old saying, something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue? Well, this is Something Blue! 💙 You knew I had to make a classic blue and white to go with this collection and I have to admit I love how this one turned out. It’s just two fabrics and a white background and at 74” square is the perfect two color lap quilt. I think you’ll love making this one! And wouldn’t it be the perfect wedding quilt? Abby @latimerlanequilts quilted it in the perfect crosshatch and it just gives it that great antique quilt texture after a few washes. Oh hey! Thanks for all the Blueprint love over the weekend! The first of the new patterns is called Ginger Jars and it’s such a fun one to piece. It’s 60” x 68”, fat quarter friendly, and will be one of the beautiful boxed kits from @modafabrics! I’m pretty excited about that. Oh, and it was quilted by @latimerlanequilts of course! (Thanks Abby!) I love a good ginger jar and *might* have designed this whole collection just so I could finally make a ginger jar quilt. True story! It’s a good day, one of my very favorites. Today is a new fabric day! I’m so happy to introduce my newest (and bluest!) collection yet, Blueprint. 🧵 A bit brighter than my previous more muted blues, Blueprint is made up of dreamy vintage florals, simple dots and plaids, and some of my very favorite antique calicos. All in classic blues and whites with just the tiniest bit of green. Inspired by vintage indigo quilts and timeless ginger jars, this one just might be my favorite yet.
