It is time!! 😮 GCSEs start in earnest for my eldest tomorrow and I just have to stand and wonder- where oh where has the time gone?! . I first made her a paper chain countdown when she was bursting with excitement for her 4th birthday and kept asking relentlessly how many more days it was going to be. Now here we are 12 years later already, gone in a flash, prepping another paper chain countdown, this time for the first set of BIG exams! Gulp 🥺 . She’s going to snip one each time she’s done with the exam (and possibly burn it 🔥 🤣) until they’re all finished . Here’s to all Year 11s (and 13s!) - You’ve got this 🙌🏼

Maybe too obvious but if you haven’t tried it, this solves a LOT of problems during big Easter egg hunts! Add your own ideas below 👇🏼 . Assign each child to a certain colour of plastic eggs then hide treats inside and place them around the house or garden. Done! . No more squabbling about who gets what or older children railroading younger ones and grabbing them all! . We actually take this one step further now with clues in each colour egg leading kids on their own individualised hunt for the BIG ONE often hidden inside or underneath somewhere in the house! . Make some Chocolate Easter nests this weekend! . Truly easy and no cooking required = even better! . Simply: • break up some shredded wheat cereal into a bowl • in another bowl melt some milk chocolate (I use short bursts in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds) • mix the two together until the shredded wheat is completely covered • add to cupcake cases in a muffin tin • add mini eggs on top • refrigerate until hardened (1-2 hours) • eat and enjoy! . #theimaginationtree #eastertreats #kidscooking
