Today we did a fun activity at the @migration_museum learning about the history of Adelaide and what the area was like pre colonisation, then we worked on a collaborative artwork constructing our imagined city of the future.

Our version of Kusama’s flower sculptures is made with a cardboard base covered in paper mache clay. Today I prepared a big painting wall for the younger kids at our home education co-op inspired by the awesome @artbarblog I have done this project lots of times at home when my kids were younger and it’s so fun. I’m excited to share these fun crafts with the younger children at our co-op. Can’t wait to see how it evolves!

Creating colourful collages is a great way to use up old paintings. To make this colourful Kandinsky inspired artwork, I used a bunch of paintings plus some craps of plain coloured paper.
