I’m not ashamed to admit that for a little while we lost our way, we worked with some BIG names and got caught up in the hype of it all, was it a bucket list moment ? Yes ,was we flattered to be taken on by one of the UK’s biggest supermarkets? OMG yes, but it all got too big. Suddenly Dan and I were making 3 times the amount of clothes we wanted too and we were no longer a “small business” in fact If I’m honest I felt a hypocrite asking you to shop small when you could buy our clothes in a major British supermarket. It didn’t make sense. We started making some changes to our business last year, moving back to our original model of business working for ourselves and not someone else. Making less, manufacturing more considerately and more importantly slowing down. I have no regrets, the amount I’ve learnt in the last 11 years I could fill a book. We are making some more gradual changes here at Fred & Noah (all exciting) One of those changes will mean less leggings moving forward as we develop new fitting kids trousers and also new and exciting products. BUT In order to make room for the newness we need to clear some older lines ( which won’t be returning) so we’ve discounted 100’s of styles to clear in our CLEARANCE. Oh hi 👋🏻 If you’re new here we wanted to just re introduce ourselves. We’re Natalie & Dan, a husband & wife run business (mum & dad to Freddie & Noah) Dan used to be a builder and I used to be a college lecturer in Fashion design. I started the business on my maternity leave because I missed being creative and it accidentally turned into a hugely successful business overnight thanks to the likes of @mrsgifletcher @fearnecotton @kimberleywalshofficial @ladbabymum and @mrshinchhome telling everyone about us. We worked so hard and moved from our dining table to our shed, making everything between us day and night soon after we both quit our day jobs to work together (Dan loves it I promise) and after 11 years we’re still bloody doing it! (And still happy married!) Whether you’re an OG follower or you found us today we make our clothes here in the UK, we focus on making clothes that kids LOVE to wear. No neutral co-ords here sorry, we want kids to dress like kids and with over half a MILLION pairs of leggings sold we like think we’re doing something right. We noticed whilst sewing our duck sleepsuits last week that a portion of the fabric has been damaged in transit and made some very small holes through the cloth. I didn’t realise when we launched these Monsters how much they would help children with their anxieties and worries. It wasn’t until a customer messaged me to say she had ordered one with “worry monster” on the tummy for whenever her little boy is worrying about something they write it down and place it in pocket hidden inside the bear. In the morning the worry has been gobbled up and replaced with a bag of chocolate buttons 💛 As we seem to be selling so many of these right now we have made the decision to bring back the pink version which you can now find back online and it’s 20% off EVERYTHING until midnight.
