The yummiest morning show glam for the phenomenal @mindykalling for @todayshow by me using all @danessamyricksbeauty. Here’s how I designed Mindy’s glam : I primed and prepped the skin for sweat, oil control, and all-day wear with Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder in Universal and Water Powder Serum. To correct and conceal, I used Lift and Flex Concealer in shade 10 and shade 11. For a natural seamless sculpt, I used a combination of Balm Contour in Medium 3 and Blurring Balm Powder in shade 8.5. To create a multi-dimensional natural matte base, I used Vision Cream Cover in N6 paired with Blurring Balm Powder in shade 5.5. To design the eyes, I used multiple tones from the Groundwork: Defining Neutrals and Groundwork: Blooming Romance along with a custom Colorfix blend of Rustic and Dreamsicle. I strategically set with Evolution Powder in Yellow and for a warm flush of color on the cheeks, I layered Blurring Balm Flushed in Creme Brulee, Spiced Latte and Julibee. Finally, for the lips, I used Groundwork: Defining Neutrals to line and define the lips and layer shade Nude- a-tude from the Dewy Lip + Cheek Palette in Dew It Undercover . Several years ago , I was given the opportunity to work on @morphebrushes Filter Effect foundation campaign as the creative director , makeup artist and photographer . The beautiful @makeupshayla was my muse and while I was nervous , I was so happy to bring Morphe’s vision to life alongside with her. It was incredibly important to me to highlight the beauty in collaboration and inclusion .
