Big climbs, cold beers, misty mornings and strong energy - our flashpacking weekend with Curve Cycling in Healesville was everything an overnight gravel adventure should be. We rolled out from the LaB, chased dirt into the Yarra Ranges, and soaked up the good times with coffee, climbs and fun vibes. Minimal gear, max stoke. Another day cycling through the Gobi desert on our journey from Vietnam to Spain. One minute the wind is sandblasting your face, then you are riding a camel and the next you are crying over a plate of dumplings. After battling sandstorms, wolves and the odd sandworm we have successfully collected enough spice for our next 9 months of bikepacking. The Gobi desert has been one of the most difficult and draining places we have ever ridden. Yet with it comes a unique feeling of accomplishment, and the wisdom we have learnt about life and ourselves will forever be imprinted in our minds, or at very least burnt onto our faces. New Bike Day!! Almost a year ago, I met the legends from @curvecycling at a solstice campout hosted by @thewoodscyclery Fast forward to today and I’m absolutely buzzing to announce that they’ll be supporting me for my India project and beyond! 
 Say hello to Kevin — my new adventure partner! The GXR, aka Kevin, is @curvecycling flagship gravel bike. Built for racing, riding, and roaming far off the beaten track. I’m gonna be doing all 3 😁 She’s got a titanium frame, carbon forks, SRAM Force Eagle drivetrain, Curve’s own carbon wheels, mounts for days and one sick head badge. A huge thankyou to @curvecycling for supporting the project and my dreams! And a big shout out to the @thewoodscyclery for building her! Now all I need to do is stop smiling long enough to go for a ride and give her a name!
