It’s a space that just...FEELS GOOD. Design is a big part of everything they do—think hand-pulled textured walls, recycled wood ceilings, and yes, even a wild mural installation in their bathrooms. ‘If we can’t find what we want, we make it ourselves,’ they told us. 🫒 The Food Saltine is all about seasonal ingredients and top-quality produce. They work closely with suppliers who TRULY care about what they grow—think Farmer Tom, Shrub, Todoli Citrus, and Martin the Forager. Everything’s made from scratch with a focus on flavour and simplicity. They also keep waste to a minimum by practising whole animal butchery. And their most-loved dish? The Sticky Toffee Apple Cake. Trust us, you’ll want to save room for it! Drinks at Saltine get just as much love as the food. The bar menu is thoughtful and creative, with standout serves like the Whiskey Lowball, featuring Aberlour Single Malt Scotch, Botivo, Cocchi Americano, and a splash of soda water. They also experiment with house-made cordials, infusions, and ferments, adding depth and character to every drink. 🕺 The People Before opening Saltine, Mat and Jess spent 11 years running the Fink’s coffee shops.
