I’ve shared a little bit of my caregiver journey days on here taking care of my mom who had dementia. . And if you know anything about dementia, the most heart breaking and traumatic part is the memory loss. Experiencing your loved one forget things and even who you are sometimes is devastating. . Well it was to me, which left me NOT knowing parts of my mom’s life story. . . I created journal along with a few prompts for Jaela to ask me to document my story for her. This also helps her to learn more about me and its chance to connect and bond, laugh and maybe even cry lol. . But I thought it was dope and wanted to include this. . .
