THIS soil mix is absolute GOLD I use a 3 part mix that I homemake myself. It consists of a super rich soil packed with worm castings, and kelp (to name a few) plus orchid bark and perlite. I buy 3 specific sized bags and mix them completely together for the perfect ratio! I’ll also link the container that I keep my soil in to keep it fresh and free of fungus gnats! Several years ago, I did what most people do and bought the generic store bought soil that’s labeled for houseplants. I was being flooded with gnats and my plants were dying left and right. It wasn’t until I understood how essential proper airflow and drainage is for the health of the plants roots that my plants started THRIVING. You cannot underestimate the importance of this step!
