This chalkboard set is primarily all I used when my daughter was 5! She traced and wrote her letters and numbers, and then I gave her wooden alphabet tiles that she placed on the chalkboard to match up the letters. I had her say the sound of the letter to me as she traced it. Super easy, and we still use these for handwriting practice a year later!
