Focus on hydration, sleep, nutrition (sources of natural, quality protein & carbohydrates to replenish lost stores) and rest over the coming days. I prioritise @esncom supplements that support my immune system (vitamin C, D, B12 for example) too. Your race not only fatigues your CNS (central nervous system) but also can provide mental fatigue too. Everyoneโ€™s time to recover is different but I usually take the days post race to lay off heavy strength work. But theyโ€™ll always be something to celebrate; even completing a HYROX is worth celebrating, an experience I got to share with my mother-in-law yesterday ๐ŸŽ‰ Whilst your race is still fresh in your mind, I always get my clients to: โ€ข complete a race review; remove the data and focus on feel - how did the stations and specific runs feel? How was your body and mindset throughout the race - the more detailed reflection you have, the more you have to work with โ€ข review the data - using @roxfit.app and @hyresult . Look at your stats against your race strategy, previous races and other competitors in your age group.
