We get to choose how we see our bodies, and I think that matters more than we realize. We can look at one photo and immediately search for what we don’t like, or we can step back and remember that a body is not supposed to look exactly the same in every angle, every position, or every moment. A posed body and a moving body will look different. A body mid-stride, breathing hard, sweating, bending, and doing the work will not always look the way it does when we are standing still and choosing the most flattering angle. That does not mean anything is wrong with our body. It means our body is doing what it was built to do👏 Every photo here shows the same body on the same day accomplishing the same hard thing. One frame may look more flattering than another, but none of them changes the strength, effort, or resilience it took to get through that race. We are so used to viewing ourselves as a frozen image and deciding how we feel based on one second, one angle, or one expression. While we so commonly do this, I challenge you to challenge those thoughts and ask "is that even logical?" The goal is maybe not to love every single photo of yourself.
