This is what “brick by f’ckn brick” actually looks like. Last August, I stood right here in front of a building that most people would’ve just kept driving past. It was a weathered, beat-up old spot decaying by the day, despite its history. But where others saw a building left for dead, I saw what was possible right here in my hometown. I promised then that we were going to bring this place back to life. I told you we’d tear it down to the studs and rebuild something our community could be proud of. Today, standing here 24 hours before we open the doors to the first-ever BRUNT retail store, it’s hard to put into words how proud I am of my team and the tradesmen and women who rebuilt this place with their own hands. We didn’t hire some big outfit to do this for us. We leaned on local trades to turn this vision into a reality. They put in the grit, the late nights, and the meticulous work required to transform that old yellow and red box into a one-of-a-kind retail experience. Tomorrow at 2pm, we cut the ribbon. I can’t wait to welcome you in to see what we’ve built together. In the future, if you come by on the weekends, there’s a good chance you’ll see me here with my sons - cleaning the glass, sweeping the floor, or refolding t-shirts. I want them to see firsthand that no job is too small and that attention to detail is critical when you’re building something that matters, especially when it’s for the people who build this country every day.
