Shoulder Training – Precision Over Ego I start with the Newtech Seated Single Lateral Raise to warm up and activate the delts. It’s the perfect way to get blood moving and wake everything up before loading heavier movements. Right away, I can feel the shoulders firing. Next, I move to the Atlantis Standing Shoulder Press. I prefer single-arm presses here to stay locked in on the front delts and keep both sides balanced. One side at a time means no compensation — just clean, controlled strength. Then it’s back to Newtech Multi Lateral Raises, leaning forward to bias the rear delts. This machine will humble you fast, so I don’t chase weight. I chase tension and contraction. The goal is the pump, not the ego. After that, I hit Lying Cable Lateral Raises (cuff variation). These are one of my favorite isolation movements. The cuffs take the hands out of it so the delts do all the work. Constant tension, deep stretch, and an unreal pump every set. Next is the Atlantis Pec/Rear Delt Fly Combo for focused rear-delt work. I intentionally depress my shoulders at the start of every rep to minimize trap involvement and keep the stress exactly where it belongs — the rear delts. I finish with Newtech Standing Lateral Raises and empty the tank. High reps, nonstop tension, chasing that final burnout.
