Our team visited Araku Valley last December to reconnect with the incredible women of Vanmaya FPO, who have been crafting exceptional coffee with dedication and care. Over the years, we’ve worked together to enhance their processing capabilities —from a small unit to a well-equipped wet mill with fermentation barrels and controlled drying. We’re excited to support them in setting up a solar polyhouse for even better quality this season. One of the highlights? A cupping session where the community got to taste the very coffee they processed. Many of them had never sipped black coffee before, but seeing their curiosity and excitement was truly special. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. Beyond Vanmaya, we also visited two more FPOs we’ve partnered with over the past five years. By investing in better equipment and post-harvest infrastructure, they’ve been able to improve efficiency while staying true to their traditions. Every cup tells a story, and this one is about progress, passion, and people.
