How we create entitlement in our children (without realizing it): 1️⃣ Not enforcing boundaries: "It’s fine, you can watch one more show." Your child thinks, "Rules don’t apply to me." Instead: Stick to your rules and boundaries. 2️⃣ Overpraising for ordinary things: "You finished your homework! You’re the smartest!!!" Your child thinks, "I should be praised for every little thing I do." Instead: Praise them when they've worked hard. 3️⃣ Giving in to demands: "Fine, you can have ice cream, just stop whining." Your child thinks, "If I whine, I’ll get whatever I want." Instead: Limit material rewards. 4️⃣ Solving all their problems: "I’ll talk to your teacher and take care of this." Your child thinks, "Someone else will solve my problems." Instead: Teach them accountability. 5️⃣ Comparing to others: "You’re so much smarter than all these kids.
