I’ve been thinking about something lately. If I could spend a day with 2015 me, what would I actually say? Not the cleaned-up version. The honest one. I’d tell her success doesn’t always feel like success while you’re inside it. The outside story and the inside story can both be true at the same time. I’d tell her building from a real problem will always beat building just to keep momentum. And maybe most of all, I’d tell her needing structure doesn’t mean she’s weak.
