every.single.morning for basically the last 7 years. ‌ Every morning I wake and pump, this session never seems to end. It’s always my longest pump of the day and you can see why. It’s the most milk to remove after no full milk removals during the night, yes little dude nurses sometimes during the MOTN. ‌ If you’ve ever been told, ‌ 𝘺𝘰𝘶’𝘭𝘭 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘶𝘮𝘱 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 15 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘴.. ‌ whatever you do, let that go in one ear and out the other! This is not accurate or supportive advice. If I stopped after 15 minutes, even during a regular session- I’d absolutely be leaving milk behind. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗸 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆. ‌ Do you need to pump for the 45 minutes like I did in this video? Probably not! But you’ll know your body best as you continue to learn your supply, pump and body’s response time. ‌ 𝗠𝘆 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 would be to aim for 25-30 minutes while double pumping. As days and weeks pass and you become more in tune with your body and you may be able to back off on those longer sessions! ‌ 𝗠𝘆 𝗽𝘂𝗺𝗽 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 ⏰ ‌ ⚡️7a - 45 minutes ‌ ⚡️all subsequent sessions on 3.5 hour spreads- 30 minutes ‌ ⚡️If I pop a session in before the 3.5 hour hits- I won’t pump for 30 minutes, only about 15-20 minutes ‌ ⚡️While I’m using mobiles - I’ll likely turn them back on after 30 minutes to ensure I moved as much as I could! *mobiles need some extra time in the bra, as I’ve found* ‌ 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗽𝘂𝗺𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗽𝘂𝗺𝗽!? ‌ ‌
