⚒️ Repentance isn’t feeling bad about sin. 🔥 It’s allowing God to rebuild your mind in the fire of Truth. Acts 3:19 “Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out.” In the original Greek, the word repent is μετάνοια (metanoia). It literally means a change of mind. Not surface level regret. Not temporary guilt. Not a moment of emotional conviction. It means your thinking is reshaped so deeply that the direction of your life changes with it. But scripture doesn’t stop there. The verse continues: “…and turn again.” This reflects the Hebrew word שׁוּב (shuv), which means to return. Return to truth. Return to righteousness. Return to the Father. Repentance in scripture is a mind changed by truth and a life that turns back toward God. Iron does not change shape in comfort. It changes in the fire. Pressure. Heat. Hammer strikes. And the same is true of the human heart. The things we once chased begin to lose their value. The lies we once believed lose their grip. Truth begins to sharpen us. Just like iron in the forge. 🔥 Repentance is the fire. 🔥 Truth is the hammer. 🔥 Christ is the one shaping the steel. Forge your mind in Truth. Return to the Father. Walk in the Will of Christ.
