Omid and I just completed our first HYROX! 💪🔥 Unfortunately, I pulled my calf during the run after the burpee broad jumps. Luckily, I had made it far enough that I was able to hobble my way to the finish line and complete the whole thing. Because of the injury, I didn’t get anywhere near the time I was hoping for, but I still finished. And now I know exactly what I’m getting myself into. I have a much better idea of what I need to train, where I need to improve, and what I need to do differently next time. We’ve got another HYROX in about five months. Now we train, come back stronger, and see just how much we can improve.
