And eventually there comes a moment where the Spirit of God awakens something inside you that says: “I cannot keep living asleep.” That doesn’t mean you become arrogant. It doesn’t mean isolating yourself from society. It means learning how to stand in chaos without letting chaos rule within you. Christ walked through broken cities, corrupt systems, betrayal, suffering, temptation, and darkness….yet remained unmoved in purpose and Truth because His peace did not come from the world around Him. And neither should ours……“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…” — Romans 12:2 Transformation requires resistance. Resistance against: - the flesh, the ego, constant distraction, instant gratification, and the lie that material things can heal spiritual emptiness. This world is temporary. Bodies fade. Money fades. Status fades. Applause fades…..But Truth remains. That is why discipline matters. That is why obedience matters. That is why peace in Christ is powerful. Because a man rooted in God can stand in the middle of a storm without becoming one himself. The goal is not escaping the world. The goal is carrying the light of Christ through it without letting darkness redefine who you are. To become different is not weakness. It is sanctification.
