Second part of the Queen Serenity wig is the tails. Much, much easier than part one 😮‍💨 Just don’t let them turn into a tangled mess 😘 Specific materials used in this section: X-Long Clip CLASSIC in Silver by @ardawigs; Shiny Nylon Tulle in Gray Violet from @joann_stores; and @got2busa Schwarzkopf Glued Blasting Freeze Hair Spray. All other materials listed throughout. 1. Separate the ponytail hair clip. We’re using one clip to make two tails. Remove the wig fibers from the claw clip and the elastic surrounding the edge. Find the middle of the clip’s net and cut down the middle. Make sure not to clip any of the actual wig fibers. Once separated, store each tail safely so they don’t get tangled. Don’t even breathe in their direction! 2. Prepare the tulle tubes. I’ve seen this recommend in a few different videos and it’s such a good tip! Cut two strips of tulle to be twice the width of the tail (minus an inch for a snug fit) and the length of the tail (minus two inches so the tips are still exposed). Fold the strip in half widthwise and sew with a narrow zigzag stitch. Turn the tube inside out and slide over the tail. Handstitch the end of the tulle tube that’s placed over the clip’s net for extra security. 3. Attach the tails. Hot glue the end where the fibers are attached to the clip net and place against the cut off pig tails. Wrap some elastic around the two for extra security. 4. Attach the odangos. Apply fresh hot glue to the cut off pig tail + long tail combo and place the ondango on top. This is where having a very strong assistant comes in handy 💪 5. Clean up the seams. I had some net peeking through the bottom of the odango, so I grabbed some leftover wig fibers and sprayed them together. Then I wrapped it around the odango and trimmed to size.
