How are my kids old enough for their friends to be having babies? 🥹🥹 I beamed inside and out when Eleni told me she wanted to make her new mother friend a quilt a while ago. I guess I expected asks for help. Instead she just walked in yesterday with the start of her first patchwork made from a repurposed sweatshirt and vintage pieces. It reminds me so much of the baby quilts my mom used to make to donate. In fact it is so much like the one my mom made for baby Eleni. I beamed brighter. I guess she knows how to do this already. 🤣 A big step up from her mini hand stitched and stuffed patchwork pillows that lived on her little girl bed for years. Proud. 😇
