Moments in Indo on film before this trip, i spent so much time thinking about what boards i wanted to bring. i’ve always been drawn to longboards, mid lengths, twins and single fins with a little personality to them, so i wanted something shorter that still felt smooth, flowy, and forgiving in the water. something that could handle faster waves but still matched the style of surfing i love most. i ended up bringing the 6’6 Pleasant Pheasant from @almondsurfboards and honestly fell in love with it out here. it has this really beautiful balance of feeling playful but still responsive. the pointier rounded nose and pin tail make turns feel easy and clean, but it still keeps that loose single fin glide that makes surfing feel fun instead of forced. it felt like the perfect in between board for girls wanting to step into shorter shapes while still keeping the volume for easy paddling and style in their surfing. these are some film moments #35mm
