On this bright spring Monday, we wanted to shine a light on our customer and author, Patrice Gopo! ☀️🪻Patrice looked absolutely fabulous in her Art Basil dress this past Saturday for the book launch of her second picture book, Ripening Time, which was celebrated over Indie Bookstore Day at Main Street Books in Davidson, NC! 💓 Patrice told us: Ripening Time is the story of a young narrator waiting across a week for plantains to ripen. It's about food and family and inspired by my experience growing up in Anchorage, Alaska as the daughter of Jamaican immigrants."
