Happy Earth Day! We’re so proud to work with a manufacturing partner in Soko Kenya that prioritizes social and environmental sustainability, and to know that our clothes are being made with such attention to impact. Solar panels provide over 75% of the electricity for the factory, and a rainwater catchment system means that all the prewashing for our fabrics is done with this collected water, with the sun doing the work for drying! Additionally, we repurpose our fabric offcuts for items like our patchwork totes and quilted jackets, diverting 5500 lbs of fabric waste each year from landfills. Finally, we’re delighted to bring new life through Common Threads by mending, repairing and refreshing your old Zuris!
