How did I end up here? Sometimes I catch myself wondering. How this girl - who once thought she’d become a teacher, who grew up in a small village far from the sea, who used to line up toy whales and dolphins on her bedroom floor - somehow found herself here. In the open ocean. Face-to-face with the very creatures that once only lived in her imagination. Photographing sharks for a living was never part of the original plan. But looking back… maybe it was always written somewhere in the saltwater pages of my story all along.
