I get the comment “ You’re so talented” a lot and while I appreciate the sentiment and take it as a compliment, it also implies that I somehow lucked out. That I was blessed with the ability to do this when the real story is I’ve worked at it. I’ve practiced. and practiced. and practiced some more. I’ve honed my craft and learned a ton. and I’m not done growing and learning yet. I take every opportunity to learn and grow and look forward to seeing where I am 5 years from now. And if you want to learn something, to get good at something. ANYTHING. you can as long as you have a growth mindset. So go after it and don’t quit. You never know where you could be in five years.
