We love his movement quality in the air, and we could watch him dance up there all day! 💛 In Antoine’s own words: “Coming to the aerial world at an early age from dance and theater, I’m always working to translate those systems into my aerial practice. This means taking an aerial sequence and exploring it with the idea of a dance phrase in the air, playing with movement quality, rhythm, and contrast. I ask myself: What does the silk represent to me? How do I touch it? What is our shared backstory? I use these questions to fuel my creativity, approaching each moment with a ‘yes, and’ mindset. When something unexpected happens — a knot at the end or middle of a trick — I try to acknowledge it, accept it, and work from there. Often, that’s how new moves or transitions are born.
