Not many people have been surfing for as long as Jo Pickett, 53 years to be precise! 🏄‍♀️With wisdom of the waves like Jo, you know she is full of stories from surfing around the world, riding incredible waves, and watching surfing grow to what it is today. She is truly an inspiration to so many and has guided generations of surfers to reach their potential and find a love for the ocean. 💕Jo runs and started Crystal South Surf Camp in 1996, her surf school and is the organizer of the Wahine Classic, an all female surfing contest. Jo is also a dedicated mother, and extremely talented songwriter and ukulele player (you need to hear some of her original songs!). ⁠ ⁠ People like Jo are pillars of the surf industry!
