Our New York City event is just three weeks away and we are thrilled to be partnering with Justin Borucki (@justinborucki) to offer tintype photography at the event. After a successful two-decade career as a celebrity portrait photographer, Justin made a pivot after discovering the wet plate collodion tintype process—a craft dating back to the 1850s. A tintype is made by an entirely handmade process with origins dating back to the 1850s. Metal plates are sensitized, exposed, and developed one at at time.
