Lately I’ve Been Battling With Struggles of Being a Man In This Weird Life We Walk In. Been Dealing With My Own Mental Health. I’ve Been Testing My Own Mind Regularly And This Album Is A Big Part That Helps With Copping. @ray.vaughn Showed His Most Vulnerable Side On This Album “The Good The Bad The Dollar Menu” and It Has Had Me Thinking About My Life. From Being a Husband/Fiancee, A Father, Family Oriented, Being The Strongest I Possibly Can Be At All Times, Shit Can Be Exhausting and Sometimes It Feels Like I’m In Quicksand and Everyone Is Just Watching Me Sink and While Saying “It’s Gene, He’ll Figure It Out”. Besides My Wife, There’s a Couple Other People That Mean The World to Me and I Don’t Have Much of A Relationship With Them Anymore. It Hurts A Lot Because It Would Be Nice For Them to Just Be Happy and Proud Of Me and All My Accomplishments… Shit Hurts Tremendously. I Do My Best To Stay Positive At All Times and Make My Loved Ones Smile, Because It Makes Me Feel Good About My Life and Makes Me Feel Like I’m Doing A Decent Job… This Is Just Me Having A Venting Kind of Moment. I Don’t Do This Often But I Just Wanted to Share This Just Incase Someone Feels Vulnerable and Wants To Just Speak Some of Their Truth! That’s All!
