Since 2010, USAID grants have funded our Co-op Development Project (CDP) work to improve climate resiliency, support gender equity, engage youth, and improve crop yields in collaboration with farmer co-ops. Our $4.9 million contract was broken abruptly by the US Government, but our work must continue. We’re initiating the Small Farmer Fund as a way to pool our community’s resources to keep these important farmer-led projects funded.
