It’s about 101 km wide and lies at the edge of Mare Imbrium, surrounded by rugged mountain ranges like the Alps and the Teneriffe Mountains. 🏔️ What makes Plato special is its flat floor and sharp rim, which contrast beautifully with the rough terrain nearby.
