There are a handful of brands we’ve been working with for the whole 8+ years we’ve been open, but only one brand gets to be your first shipment. In this case, @3sixteen shipped me our first delivery a few months before we got the doors open, straight to my dining room on 75th St. in Waldo, all the way back in 2017. Since then, we’ve gone on to form a great friendship with their team. Over the years, we’ve collaborated on multiple special projects for the shop, gotten selfies from our customers who make it to their flagships in NY or LA, and spent hours on the phone talking about the state of business, the menswear world, denim in general, the Gunners (cc: @brando.boomin), and everything in between. These are our people. And we finally get to play host to our friends @andrew3sixteen and @johan3sixteen this Friday and Saturday! Friday from 5-8, we’ll be kicking back and celebrating the start of summer with beers and tequila courtesy of our friends @lalospirits. Come hang, meet the guys, have a drink and start your weekend right. On Saturday at 9am we’ll be hosting a 5K run with an assist from the team at @saucony, starting at the shop. We’ll breeze an easy few miles around the neighborhood and kick back at the shop with coffee and a few raffle prizes from 3sixteen’s Active Collection afterwards. There may or may not be a limited merch tee involved. Saucony will have some tester shoes available for the run if you’ve been thinking about a new pair or have been interested in their running gear!
