032c Gallery is pleased to present “doomscrolling,” a group exhibition with works by Angélique Aubrit & Ludovic Beillard, Pietro D’Azzo, Cameron Patricia Downey, Jason Gringler, Iida Jonsson & Ssi Saarinen, and Kev Koko, on view until April 29. Doomscrolling is the act of continuously scrolling through large quantities of news and social media content, particularly with a negative narrative. The exhibition is not only interested in endless gloomy scrolling, but the general state of a compulsive consumption of images, no longer being able to distinguish between a “good” and “bad” image. “Doomscrolling” explores in what ways the meaning of an image is no longer defined through its actual content, but through the context it is embedded in. 032c Gallery, Kurfürstendamm 178, Berlin Open from Tue - Sat, 12:00 - 18:00 🕳️
