Our identities intimately woven w our environment. As we turn the wheel toward the Southern door ~ Listen to Spirit, to the Land, Plants, Sun, your own Heart … honour Creation & yourself by getting outside if you’re able to. Sit w the Earth {even among mosquitos ;)} 🍓 Make some Medicine. Dance. Sing to the Water. Share poems with the Stars. Wake with the Sun & remember that fire + vitality within ☀️ Move from your Hearts ~ restoring Harmony, action. Gather, organize Drum for the critters who come to say hi. Nourish your Body. Tend to your Heart, associated with Summer 🌹 FEAST allll of the beings ~ Creation. Leave offerings for the Earth, your well Ancestors, your Teachers, Spirit 🍓🌌 Solstice family kin coming through ~ Hypericum, Yarrow, Mugwort, Coastal Mugwort, Wild Rose, Elderflower. This is where I'll be, on the Land. Honouring Life. Honouring that we are still here. Honouring my child who will grow up knowing who they are, these connections & those that are home in the Stars🌌 I saw a quote by Tasha Beeds & it stuck w me “colonization was not successful.” We fight, we are tired, there are many lasting, continued, impacts, traumas, injustices ~ and, can we drop in to that statement for a moment? Colonization didn’t, isn't going to win, look around at all the ways we are still honouring our responsibilities & traditions here. The joy & beauty here too🧡 Look around at our beautiful relatives doing good work & those healing. Can you feel that strength, tenderness, love & momentum? Honouring that. Honouring each of you & all of the healing you are doing for yourself, community & past + future generations, one another. The seen & unseen realms. All the various ways you are reclaiming what they tried to take from us ~ reconnecting to the Land & tending to our relationship w the Earth, all of Creation, connecting to our Roots 🌱🍓✨ You are your Ancestor’s prayers embodied, Fam.
